WHO eli maailman terveysjärjestö on lähettänyt kuuden hengen tiimin ja 40 laatikkoa suojavarusteita auttamaan ihmisiä taudin kanssa.Lassa-tapauksia on tullut noin 615 ja monet ovat kuolleet kyseiseen kuumeeseen. Nigeriaan on jouduttu lähettämään lisää apua. Taudin oireet alkavat hitaasti ja ne muistuttavat monia muita tauteja kuten flunssa ja malaria, jolloin taudin havaitseminen voi olla hankalaa. Taudin yhtenä kantajana ja levittäjänä pidetään jyrsiää. It is so sad that in the developing country is much illness. Bad hygiene and elementary life cause the spread of illness.
